Ripe juicy cherries and blackberries burst onto your palate with sexy contrasting characters of exotic spices of vanilla and sweet cigar box. Dark fruits and raspberries combine with hints of rose petals. With an enduring length and velvety tannins, tight acidity lengthens the lush body.

Winemaking De-stemmed, cold soaked, open top fermentation, punch down, 100% Malolactic fermentation

The Syrah was hand sorted then de-stemmed and cold soaked for 3 days. Fermentation in open top fermentors and punch down by hand twice a day. The wine was then pressed off skins then racked to French barrels (30% new oak). The barrels were racked clean and the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
